Ros is an independent consultant who specialises in training and assessment, projects and presentations. She is a breastfeeding educator with the Australian Breastfeeding Association and an international trainer and assessor for the WHO/UNICEF Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative. Ros has continued her family's long-standing interest in family history. She grew up hearing stories about ancestors, helped her parents record what they knew, and has furthered this with her own research with the benefit of computerised records, online resources, libraries and archives, and local family history centres. John knew little about his family history. As in many families, it wasn't talked about and he somehow knew not to ask. His was therefore a challenging path, with exciting finds and a few details that may have been deliberately suppressed. His research has reignited his interest in history, especially as it relates to his ancestors' lives.
